Otago Radiation Oncology is a private radiation practice in Dunedin managed by Dr David Anderson.

He is an experienced radiation oncologist, having completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of Cape Town, South Africa before moving to Dunedin in 2019. He has additional postgraduate qualifications in breast cancer and lung cancer from the University of Ulm (Germany) and University of Zurich.

After completing a radiation oncology fellowship in British Columbia, Canada in 2013, he practiced at a leading academic hospital in South Africa for 5 years and was active in both clinical trials and research.

He is an accredited radiation oncology trainer for the IAEA and was a member of the committee to develop South African oncology guidelines.

He is experienced in the use of SABR radiotherapy and brachytherapy.
